Glutamate Fact:

Researchers noticed that when cancer cells were exposed to glutamates they became more mobile. They saw the same thing with MSG. It enhanced the metastasis or spread of cancer cells. The glutamate exposed cells developed pseudopodia and started moving through tissue.

In addition, increased glutamate levels caused cancer to grow like wildfire; when glutamates were blocked the growth of the cancer cells dramatically slowed.

Researchers used glutamate blocker drugs along with conventional chemotherapy enhanced the effectiveness of the cancer drugs.
